Like the title says, Tenzenmen is offering a 30% discount on all purchases through bandcamp, during the month of June. You just make a comment at the Tenzenmen site linked above, and they email you the discount code (for cd or digital download) you’ll use at checkout. [The prices are already quite reasonable, and the discount code works - I just used it!] =D
Tenzenmen has many bands on the site, lots of lo-fi, hard core, experimental, rock. Mostly concentrated on Australian and mainland China bands. (including Skip Skip Ben Ben, The Gar, 24 Hours, Carsick Cars, P.K. 14, and so on)
Besides promotion & distribution, they are also involved in DIY (do it yourself) tours of Australian bands gigging the China mainland, and Chinese bands touring Australia. If you follow indie sites like Sino Australian Music Exchange or Alternative China, you might recall reading the tour reports from some bands. (Very interesting stuff!)
Anyway, go browse Tenzenmen, sample some bands, and then grab the discount if anything strikes your fancy. According to the site, 100% of sales goes to the artist! =D

The American, Chinese and Scottish rock four piece known as Incisors (狗牙) have been playing Beijing for over a year now. They teeter on the thin line between 90’s hard alternative and melodic metal with lyrics in Mandarin. They’ve been know to perform with stage attire ranging from baseball caps and sideburns to vibrant orange nails with fake fur coat/vest combinations. All the while singing songs about strange dogs, third eyes and vipers. Catch them this Thursday at What Bar.
